DG’s Official Visit Rotary Club of Muyenga

On Wednesday this week, DG Christine made her official visit to the Rotary Club of Muyenga in a colorful and well-attended fellowship graced by leaders from Districts 9213 & 9214.

The visit felt like a homecoming for the Governor, as Muyenga was her first club before she went on to charter RC Muyenga Tank Hill.

The club showed outstanding generosity donating over USD 70,000 to The Rotary Foundation, with two members pledging over USD 25,000 each under TRF Named Fund Giving, and 50 members receiving the DG’s $100 Pin.

They also inducted 3 new members, celebrated the chartering of 2 new Rotary clubs, and announced plans to charter 2 more before the Rotary year ends.

In support of the DG’s flagship Oxygen for Life initiative, the club launched a Maternal & Child Health project to benefit mothers and newborns.
